While the game looks quite thematic and the backdrop shows obvious care and effort put into it, compared to what is available today, this Playtech release is clearly lagging behind visually. You can take a look at Well of Wonders or Playtech’s Batman and Catoman slots to see what we mean.

There is little animation work to salvage it either, so if impressive graphics is what you are after in a slot, this one sadly will not be enough to scratch your itch. It also has quite a number of icons for a fifteen reel game, as you can find 9, 10, J, Q, K and A stylized to appear more oriental sharing the reels with several icons important to the tale of the Monkey King.
